Signing in to OTAI Studio

Open Studio from your ticket system — no separate Studio password.

Signing in to OTAI Studio

OTAI Studio has no password of its own. You sign in to your ticket system and open Studio from there — you arrive already authenticated.

This page covers how you open Studio. Set up the SSO connection and permission group during Installation / via the ticket-system packages.

Prerequisites

  • You have an agent account in the ticket system (for example OTOBO).
  • Your account is in the group that may open Studio (default: studio-admin). Without that group, Studio shows an error after the click instead of the dashboard.
  • The OTAIStudio package is installed in the ticket system (otherwise the menu item is missing).

How to open Studio

  1. Sign in to the ticket system with the same credentials you use for normal agent work.

  2. In the agent navigation you will find OTAI Studio (main navigation or agent menu, depending on the system):

OTOBO agent UI with the OTAI Studio menu item

  3. Click OTAI Studio. The ticket system redirects you into Studio via a signed SSO handoff — no second login.

  4. You land on the Studio dashboard, already signed in.

If you see the Studio login page

The Studio login page appears when you open Studio directly without going through the ticket system. It has no username/password form:

Studio login page: sign in through your ticket system

Follow the steps on that page, or use the button Open OTAI Studio via ticket system (returns you to the ticket system and into the SSO handoff).

Back to the ticket system

In Studio, Back to OTOBO (or the name of your ticket system) returns you to the agent UI. Your Studio session stays until you sign out of Studio.
